In their travels to the states Gabriella and production artist Lynette Arlene stopped in at Local Talent AZ to browse clothing and accessory designs from Arizona fashion designers and artists. Amelia's white tiered skirt from the Fall 2009 collection captured their attention along with other dramatic pieces like our bronze floral print mini with side bow and cream cocktail dress with metallic gold threaded accents. Together with the help of hair stylist and makeup artist Lynette Arlene, Gabriella photographed select pieces in Sedona, Arizona to capture the emotion of each piece in the beauty of a natural landscape setting. Huge thanks to Lynette Arlene for helping to arrange and coordinate the shoot and beautiful execution of hair & makeup.

Lynette's Story

Lynette is from the USA, raised in the Southwest although currently residing in Italy, and traveling worldwide for professional opportunities. Lynette says, "I have been an artist all my life. Everything I see, touch, hear, smell or taste inspires me. I love to paint, I love to paint with people. I love to bring out the creative spirit in everyone who would like to explore it. My best times are when I have my studio open and everyone is welcome to come and paint. I am extremely passionate about life and everything that makes it up. In everything that I do, I try to share that passion, whether it is on set or in a salon, whether it is with my clients, models, or students, whether it is with my friends. I see the intensity in all things and therefore, I suppose that makes me quite intense."
Lynette actually started in the fashion industry at the age of 14 where she started as a model. Intimidated by the camera she began apprenticing as a make up artist. She later went into the vocational program of cosmetology and became a cosmetologist, continued training, and became an educator. She became a master colorist and the two worked hand in hand, make up and hair color. Lynette's philosophy is to look not only within, but also out. "Open my eyes to everything I can absorb so I can be inspired and in turn, share that inspiration. If you love doing something, DO IT and don’t stop until you have reached your destination! AND when you think you have arrived, believe me, you have only just begun! It truly is a neverending journey my dear friends and artists. And most important, surround yourselves with people who you aspire to be like, people who are positive and supportive. Be passionate, be inspired, and share it!"

Lynette is available for workshops, products, apprenticeship programs and editorials!
